At Acopio we increasingly find ourselves thinking about what it means for something to be both beautiful and functional, because we believe it is as important for products to look good as it is for them to perform well. This spirit brought Acopio and Hive Design’s Maura Fine together, with the goal of bringing more functional beauty to our shop and customers, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results of our partnership!
For Maura, art and community both find their home in her colorful, handcrafted vessels. Each piece of hers is created from hand dyed cotton cording sewn into the stunning bowls she has for purchase. As a result of the coiling method she employs to shape the containers, they are flexible and highly versatile; from jewelry to soap, and even fruit and nuts, these bowls provide the perfect container and add pops of color to any home, which we can agree are always welcome!
